Neighbor gave this to me for free with title, he upgraded.

Aluminum dual axle. Fits 24-26ft boat. No brakes installed. He stole a rim/tire for a spare for his new trailer, otherwise has nice carlisle radials on the other 3 in good condition . Looks pretty darn good, better than my trailer just too big for the Chap. Not looking to get rich, I want this flipped fast. Any ideas what I should ask on craigslist? I was thinking starting at $1500? Too high?

I bought 20 of those bills a few years ago for around $15. They were fun to pass out. Think I have one or two left around here somewhere.

A new 2 axle aluminum trailer will set you back about 6K........someone should snap it up for $1300-$1500

I was browsing craigslist. Even though it's missing brakes and a tire.. It might not be a stretch to ask 2k for this thing and take a decent offer. Wow. Looks like I might get my personal trailer some new rims/tires sooner than expected.

Why not refurb it and ask $2800?............just a data point.......I sold my POS Four Winns trailer that needed a fair amount of work for $1000......

A quick $1500 or a long $2000. Either way its 100% profit.

Throw a tire on there and ask 2k...if you sell for 1700 your way ahead like you said. I would sell the 4w and pick up an alum for that price. Too big though and I need a fold away.

This poses a good question. If someone, a neighbor specifically, gives you something, a trailer for example, for free, would you split any money made on the deal or keep it all for yourself?

Just want to throw that out there.....

He's got more money than he knows what to do with. If I didn't take it he was going to call a scrapper.

Nowhere to store it, too big for my HOA otherwise yes I wouldn't mind keeping it.

8000lb. It carried a Grady White 268 Islander walk around cuddy.

Let's say I can sell it tomorrow for $1500. If I make it "perfect" and invest $1000 in the trailer.. I'll probably sell it for what, $2500? Is hours of labor and time worth the extra $500? Maybe? I have no idea what it *could* sell for 100%.
