My 2008 V338 has a bad galvanic isolator (indicator light is always red). I have a new unit to install, so I attempted the replacement today. After removing the breaker cabinet door and getting access behind the hinged breaker panel, I was able to locate the 2 galvanic isolators (one for each shore power connection). The bad one is for SYS2 so I need to identify which of the two isolators is for SYS2. There appears to be no clear labeling as to which is for SYS1 and which is for SYS2. Does anyone know which one is for SYS2, the one mounted to the left or the one mounted almost directly behind the breaker panel (and the easiest one to have to remove and replace) I have looked at the wiring schematics and haven't found an answer. I could wait until I have access to power in the spring and simply disconnect the indicator wire to see which one no longer lights up but I would rather swap it out now. Any help would be appreciated.

Have you tried to turn on the panel lights? If I do that, my green indicators light up. Turns out they are powered up with the panel lights.

When I turn on the panel lights, I get a solid red light on SYS2, the a/c circuit. The red light stays on and the documentation indicates the galv isolator is bad internally. I need to identify which isolator is for for SYS2 and looking behind the breaker panel does not give me a definitive answer (not clearly labelled).

Harbor Freight sells Volt-Ohm meters for less than $10 sometimes. It's a great addition to the boat toolbox, and with some connecting and disconnecting, should tell you which isolator is which.
