So, lets get this started..

First Pic, a quick stop by the gas station on the way to the lake to put in for the season.. Saving 15-20 cents a gallon.. $600 later, we were ready to go in..

A quite Saturday morning on the dock, before we headed out.. Apollo, enjoying some sun..

On the way out for the rest of the weekend...

And a quiet, beautiful Sunday morning on the water...

NICE Pics! I say that as I sit here at work and dream about being out there.

Still need to put the front pads on, but they didn't seem to mind.

Not all of us live in Florida.... Our season here for us, is April to October (some say I'm crazy getting in that early), however, this year, we were a bit delayed do to some weather and other unforeseen issues... And if it's 5 months in, where the hell have the pics been!? Seems to me, maybe your the one being late posting??

TFD those pictures make me miss boating on Lake Monroe, and being alone in a quiet cove all weekend. We sure have different boating on the big lake.

Sunset the day after I launched...

This is still early season here. The lake gets busier as the season goes. Take a look at some of my pics from last year, in last years thread.. We can get pretty crowded on certain weekends, and certain coves. Even so, on a busy/holiday weekend if you want to do it, you can usually still find a cove to get away from the action and maybe enjoy some time with a significant other (the Admiral as mine refers to herself as.. lol).. We will also be going elsewhere this season as well. Ozarks in late July, and maybe Cumberland or Lake Michigan as well..

Nice pics. I think Lakebum just started an unofficial challenge - Who can get the most ladies on the bow of their boat. Looks like five is the number to beat. :)

Have a great boating season everyone. I hope our boat is floating by this coming weekend.

Mike.

We expect nothing less but a dedicated thread documenting your move from that amoeba brain-eating cesspool you are currently at to that nice marina on the St. Johns River.
