Yes, many of you trailer your boats. Yes, many of you probably have dry stack service.

Question for those of you who wet slip your boats - how much are you paying?

In the Pacific Northwest, boating is everywhere. Thus, moorgage and storage is a premium. I have a Horizon 240 on order that I had originally planned to dry stack, but I was recently able to locate a wet slip which is 30 X 12 with water, power, etc... everything included for a price of 240/month. Marina had new docks built in 2003... gate security, ample parking... showers and bathrooms on site. Oh - and it has it's own pump out station to save me a hassle... I know the slip is a bit big for my needs in the short term, but there could very easily be upgrade plans in 2-3 seasons to a 30' twin engine cruiser...

Is this average for most everyone? The leases here run year round... but typically the boating season for larger boats is almost year 'round as well.

Thoughts?

You're lucky, our slip in Annapolis is about DOUBLE that. Granted, it's about half that if for slips up in Pasadena or down in Shadyside. It's all about location, location, location.

Oh man, I am gonna make you guys sick.....

$628 CAD for the season (mid may to mid Oct). There are no hookups, but it sure is much more affordable! And this is a marina that is right in town... a 10 minute drive from my house!

For any boat over 24 ft, the price is around $730 for the season....

It is about $1,500 year-round for a covered 20' X 12' without power or lift. I haven't used it yet, but I'm considering doing it for next year.

Here in CT along the shore. It is $ 4720 plus tax for the summer season with a 36' x 13' slip. The fee includes water, cable TV, and electricity. The marina has a pool, gated entrances, and is very well kept up. Pricey but you get what you pay for. And the most important amenity included in the price is GREAT NEIGHBORS ON THE DOCK !!

$1500 for a covered well with water, electricity and showers. That's for April thru October. Also, we put up tarps to ward off the spider and bird poop.

Haven't figured out where I'm going to winter it yet but my guess is the cost will be at least $1000 - outside cold and shrink wrap.

btw, did i mention the roof leaks?

It's really amazing to see how it varies for everyone.

I did sign a lease deal at a marina on Lake Washington in the Seattle area... Secured gate for parking... Secured gate for the dock. Showers/bathrooms on site. Electrical and water on the dock. Pumpout at the small marina as well.

30 X 12 slip... docks were built in 2003 and everything is in great shape...

$240/month... which actually is really a pretty good deal out here. The next closest marina that's on Lake Washington would have been 315 for a 27X10 slip. And a 32 X12 can run as high as 450 not too far away...

For those of you who don't know... Lake Washington dumps into a smaller lake called Lake Union which is in downtown Seattle... and I can get through a set of locks and out the Puget Sound... It's about 45 minutes to an hour to get to the locks from my marina... and then the options are endless!

Between our house and the marina is everything I could possibly need... and my wife loves the organic grocery store fancy foo foo stuff that's about 1/2 mile from the marina itself.

Looks like the stars have aligned! Now... if I could just get my boat.

$1250 for the season incl. water & elect. Probably one of the best deals on the western shore of the bay.
