2003 Four Winns 268 Vista Cruiser-I don't see an easy way to remove the bolster seat for upholstery repair. Any suggestions? |

I dont know which seat you are talking about, but I had to remove part of the seats on the side. If you push up on the seat I found a screw that was hidden by the seat itself. Then on the back there is sort of like a hook that the it sits down on. Shoot us a pic of which seat you are removing. |

It is the captains seat. I thought the seat that flips up to allow the driver to stand was called a bolster seat. Anyway I found that the release lever at the front will, with a lot of effort, allow the entire seat to move forward. This will allow the removal of two screws from underneath holding the upholstery board and subsequent removal of the seat to the back of the bolster seat. This uncovers 6 screws holding the sliding mechanism and base from the fiberglass seat support. |
