Too bad you are not closer or I would ask how much. I'm leaning towards a new Yami or Merc 2.5.
The few used ones I've seen around here are 10 years old and they want $500+ for them. For a little more I think I'll go new.

Nice boat, I was thinking about buying the same one.
I have a Suzuki DF 2.5 that I use on the Walker Bay 10, its one of the lightest ones, you can buy them new for about $850 or so.

My Nissan ns3.5a? Idk.. $250?

You need one of these badboys, find one local. Under 30 pounds. Runs all day on a quart of fuel. Bulletproof. They can be had for $200-300 all the time.

Nice purchase!

I'm going to be selling my 8.5' Baltik...at our new marina it just isn't worthwhile for us. Just too long of a ride to get to the lake. At our last marina we had a beach on either side and we could dinghy there and leave the big boat in the slip, or go visit friends on other docks. Now all our friends are on the same dock...

You will enjoy it! I have a 5hp Mariner 2 stroke that is fantastic. Keep on eye on Craigslist and you'll find a motor in no time.

Now you tell me! :) I would have taken that Baltik off your hands.
I decided against getting a new Baltik because of the lack of warranty service everyone was complaining about in the reviews.
At least if I need something for this one there are WM stores all over in MI.

You want to sell the Mariner?

Nah it's staying in the family. I bought the Baltik used from a guy in Grand Haven. Couldn't beat it for the price, even new. I had a new Newport Vessels but sold it as it was to big. No problems with it either. There's one of each of those new on my dock this year as well.
