Boat looks great and bigger than a 16'. I have to say I like the older school FWs better, the straight lines and squared off stern makes the engine compartment bigger right where you need it and the older boats in general had more useful space.... |

Hey fellow FourWinn-er's.....Thanks for the kind words about my '86. She has the 3.0L 140HP I4 MercCruiser Alpha One. Such a great engine and plenty of power for pulling my rear end out of the water on a slalom ski...lol.  I live in Allegan, Michigan. What's even better, very near DUMONT LAKE, where I can be in the water in 10 minutes or less. Little Story....On March 1, 2014 my barn collapsed due to snow load. I keep my FourWinns safely tucked away in there all winter, and when ever she's not in the water. Fortunately, we had a little warning that something was seriously wrong that morning. I pulled her out about 3 hours before the roof came down. Disaster averted! Not a Scrach, and not even a touch from the falling barn. But. She's had to endure the rest of that winter, and this entire last winter outdoors. I kept a cover and a tarp over her, and she's pulled through pretty well considering. My new barn will be built this summer. You can bet she'll have a nice parking spot inside, when she's not in the water. Thanks again my friends for the very kind words. Love being part of a forum of Boaters that appreciate Four Winns as much as I do. Cheer's
