| Post subject: | Ski locker hinge |
Hi Guys, Started cleaning the boat yesterday and emptying everything out so I can get boat stored for winter and the aluminum hinge on the ski locked cracks in 4 places. Tried everywhere to get one, no luck. I didn't measure the clearance I have on the lid I just took the old hinge with me, tried 3 hardware stores and 2 boat supply shops. No one carries a 1 1/4 x 16 inch hinge. The length don't matter as it can be cut down or I can use 2, 8 inch ones or 4 , 4 inch ones Does anyone know if there's enough clearance for a 1 1/2 hinge. Can't get to the boat for a couple of days to check clearance. H200 frenzy 2008 model. Guess I am lucky it has lasted this long. Thanks Ray |

http://www.wolfsmarine.com/Search.aspx?k=hinges Try this place, I got some aluminum wrap around hinges for the big sun pad/engine cover when the OE ones on my '88 cracked after like 25 years or so. They have pages of hinges to look at. |
