Around $600 for a BoatUS yacht policy (agreed replacement value and no depreciation). That includes some credit for no claims, but, IMO it's also a much better boat policy than any of the car insurance companies offer. Don't overlook the risk of fuel spill cleanup. If you're eligible for USAA I've heard good things about them. |

no military ins here otherwise i would have gone tot hem first. And i agree that i feel that BoatUS will be the best as they are old and based on boats and not a cross over. I would get with one of the global companies that Dad Surveys for but they cover the big money boats and not us small potato guys lol. |

Insurance is one of those things, you get what you pay for at claim time. |

If you're eligible for USAA I've heard good things about them. USAA doesn't cover watercraft or off-road vehicles, they go through Progressive. I know cause that's who I had to go through, but they do give a discount for being a USAA member. I will have to look at my policy to see what I have. |

Just updated my Allstate ins, as above but 500K liability and premium is now $350/yr. Also added umbrella policy for house/vehicles/boat for $190/yr. Should be more then enough coverage for anything that ever happens now. |
