A few years ago I noticed the trim sensor wires on my U-19 were chewed up so I had an OMC service center order one, which was quite a circus as it has a swim deck so it also has a limit switch in the sensor. The mechanic went through quite a training session gathering information on it and months later he put it in. It worked for a few days and then quit again. By almost a years time I realized I ate the price of the sensor and it hasn't worked since. I tried swapping gauges as a long shot, and got what I figured - Nothing. Anyone else had this problem? If so, were you able to remedy it? Would a standard sensor work with it? Any input will be appreciated.
