Those are great pictures Bliss36! We had a great time up there with you guys :) It kind of looks like we were all up at Charlevoix at about the same time?

I'm with JeffLW, I think we need to put something together and all head up to NC.

Thank you all very much for the nice comments! We completed our 5th trip to the North Channel this summer and our confidence continues to grow every year up there. I have thought many times about putting together a group to travel the North Channel but now having a toddler on board I would be concerned about not being able to focus on the groups needs. Every year we keep a written inventory of items we take from groceries to ropes and use these lists after the trip to narrow down what we really need, I would be more than happy to share this info to help anyone thinking about heading up there. Sounds like we should start a new thread in Boating Banter specific to the NC were we can compile info/pictures from our members on this amazing cruising destination. -http://www.smwebhead.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=15713

Great pics Bliss 36. We didn't see that area when we were there in 2012. My wife wants to go back now.

Had a great time camping at Medina Lake (outside San Antonio) and running the boat this past weekend! Gotta love Texas weather - high in the mid-80's!!!

Speaking of toddlers on board, I had to dig up this old pic for you Bliss. I thought is was a great idea for boaters with little ones. :D
The Bimini swing.

Thanks Jeff, RJ would have loved a swing like that for sure! Dana was looking for one of those but we quickly realized with the forward facing arch directly over the helm seat the swing wouldn't work on our 268 :(
