I love the used boat ads this time of year

"Guy didnt show. Gonna try again. This time for $900 also. Has a ford 4cyl new plugs,coil. Whirls over good. Just no fire. I tested condenser and it tested bad. Just haven't replaced it. All lights and gauges work. Also the trim pump is not working. I belive it to be the pump silinoid( dirty contacts). Needs seats, interior is wrought but there. I was gonna get the motor to fire and then go to the pump. Power wash the carper. Fix a small soft spot on the floor. Stringers are hard. Just a spot on the floor. Throw some seats in it and be on the lake. Got to many projects. It wouldn't take much at all if you are wanting a project. Turn on the radio and mess with it a little and you can be on the water or flip it. Thus boat could be really slick with some tlc. Swim deck and ladder on the back is really nice. Comes with skies and flippers. I live in xxxxxxx and with the traffic coming to the lake this weekend. I'll have it out somewhere for sale also. Trailer is in good shape to pull anywhere. $900"

Can i com sea you're boat tomarrow? I has eleventeen dollors in the baink and me mom will let me loan the rest if we can come to the agreed price right. Plese send pictures of the radio speakers.

I know what you mean. Couldn't believe it when I found our very first boat for sale again. It's been 13 years since we sold her, but sure enough...here she is again. I can tell several items specific to ours that identify her.

Here's how I read those type of ads.

Great boat for sale. Runs great. Just needs a $2 widget that takes 5 minutes to install for the engine to run. [Of course I can't be bothered to install it and you can't run the engine or drive the boat without it.] Just install that widget and you will instantly be on the lake. Oh, except for the trim that doesn't work. And the rotten floor, missing seats and broken down rusted trailer. Trust me, you'll love this boat, I just can't be bothered to fix those tiny things and be out on the water. I'm so desperate to get rid of it I'm gonna put it out in the yard and hope somebody takes it off my hands.
