To all my fellow Texas boaters....hope all in Coastal and East regions are safe. Thanks to all those who loaded up the rigs and came to help from all over Texas and Louisiana....special shout out to the Cajun Navy. Impressive to see the line of Bay rigs, Air Boats, Flounder rigs and PWC'S launching from the freeways.

We have Peace Officers and Firefighters pairing up with volunteer boat captains...there's no way all these people could have been rescued without all the volunteers....Impressive to have caravans of personal vehicles lined up to take those rescued to shelters, hospitals or personal homes. At tines the volunteer lines were longer than the line of evacuees at shelters.

I have to add that we all can be proud of our Coast Guard, Texas and National Guard Unit's. If you haven't seen these chopper teams work in tandem, your missing out.
