 We bought a fling jet boat for our daughter to ski behind. Other boat is not condusive to water sports without ripping limbs off. Problem is that it hessitates under load of two tubers or when pulling a skiier. Any ideas. Compression check was the same in all cylinders. Any one know how fast these things will go? Live in iowa and really want to be able to have a pull boat for water sports. May need to change boats.

Don't know about jet boats, never heard anything good about them. What you need is an H 240 with a wake board tower and 5.7 Volvo DP. I love mine, great for water sports and cruising with 10 people.

Welcome to the board, Joe. Nice to see another 240 owner.

We bought it last March 2007, put it to use and found it to be a good combination of water sports boat and nice cruising boat. Lake Norman is the largest lake in NC and can get rough on the weekends. The 240 has are very smooth ride in rough water. Weather will be warm enough to enjoy by the middle of April.
