| Post subject: | A poor start of the boating season weather wise |
I am in south eastern Wisconsin and have been very disappointed with the weather so far. Has anyone else been having issues getting out? I have spent more time on my fishing boat on week day evenings because the weather is only warm/dry during the week. Lake Michigan has been plagued with easterly and north easterly winds causing large waves and also dense fog. Some of the inland lakes are not warming up as quick as usual. I guess this is payback for the last 4 years being good. Hopefully it turns around soon. |

Winter went into mid-late May up here. I was out last week and air temps were only in the high 50's to low 60's. Looking ahead, I see 90's in the forecast. I also got a pretty good sunburn on Saturday, so I think it's safe to say summer is finally here. |

We got a real good taste of summer finally here this weekend. Heat index's of 100 plus. That made the water feel amazing even though the lakes are still a touch chilly. |
