Good afternoon fellow Boat owners. My name is Owen (aka OPIPE….childhood nickname). I am new member, as I am new Four Winns owner. I have been around water all my life, and my folks have owned boats since I was a baby. I spent 12 years working on the Trent-Severn Waterway, so I have been around boats for many many years. Finally, after 45+ years, I have been put in a position to purchase my first “family” boat. After over a year of looking, I finally found the combo I was looking for in a Four Winns, and snapped it up super quick. I was able to snag a 2007 Horizon 190 with the 4.3L V6 (fuel injected), pair up with the Volvo SX outdrive. I bought the boat from the original owner, and she only has 300 hours on it. The boat is in great shape, and has all the options I was looking for, so as you can imagine, I am pumped. I bought the vessel this past fall, and only went for a test ride, and then a second ride once I brought her home. So far, I am super happy with my purchase, and I can’t wait to get out next summer. I have read so much on this forum already, and can’t wait to read more. See you around the forums. OPIPE |

That is a good boat and power combo. Those 07's I believe were still using the VEC manufacturing process, so your entire boat (even the transom) is wood-free. Keep it well maintained and it'll last almost indefinitely. |
