I know it had already been posted and most of you are aware of the costs that will hit your wallet if it doesnt pass. But here is the easiest link I found to alert your senator you dont like this. Take a sec to fill it out they do the rest for you.

Please forgive my ignorance as I'm in Canada and this bill won't effect me (yet) but are you saying that all boaters must get a permit due to deck runoff (acid rain)?
And this is because the said runoff (acid rain) will stream off your deck, enter the watershed and pollute it?
Well then, isn't it true that if your boat wasn't there in the first place, the acid rain would enter the watershed anyway... only more directly?
What about people who own lets say, docks, seaplanes, even cars..... anything that water can run off. :?
If anything, all boaters should be upset at the amount of times over a season that we have to wash the soot off our decks..... the soot that comes from the country’s power plants, diesel trucks, and factories?

Bigmikey,
Thanks for the nod on my sig pic.
I love that area. We can be back there for 3 to 4 days and never see another boat.
