When doing your spring commissioning be SURE to go around the boat and check that all the screws are tight. Likewise use a hex driver and check all your hose clamps. When I went around the cockpit in our 348 I noticed more than a couple of screws that were a bit loose.

All the wave action is sure to loosen things a bit, so make it a point to check them.

I agree, after discovering last year that nearly every screw and clamp on the boat was loose to some degree - some to a large degree. Don't forget windshield mounting screws. On them I took each one out and put a dab of silicone on the threads to keep them from backing out so easily.
