We launched the boat Friday afternoon. All went well, and the boat ran perfect. Nice weekend in the 70's. There were just 3 of us in the Marina Friday, a couple more launched by Sunday.

In the slip ready for another season of boating.

We too launched our H200 on Saturday!!!! :D I was up at 6:00 and made sure all was well on land before we launched around 9:30. We travelled about 15 miles up river to Kingston's beautiful waterfront (where we were the only boat in the harbour!) :P We walked the farmer's market and some of the shops downtown before having lunch on the patio and returning to the launch around 2 pm. (Unfortunately we had other plans for the late afternoon/evening. :( )The temperature was extreme at 27 C and the winds were minimal. While we were exposed to Lake Ontario it was colder but as soon as you passed behind an island we had to ditch the jackets. The boat performed flawlessly. When we returned to the launch there were six boats waiting to be launched! Why they didn't come out earlier I am not sure. Now the H200 goes on the lawn for sale because I know it's ready to go. Next launch will be the H260

Happy boating everyone! I believe the season is upon us!

H260  Damn, thats an awful lot of bowrider! They even have a little sleeping cuddy don't they? Just curious, at that size what appeals to you about a bowrider over a small cuddy/cruiser? Winnisquam has an awesome black 260 pictured on thier wesite - it looks like Miami Vice. 27 C? We had 17 C without a breath of wind yesterday so I got the jet out to make sure the lake still worked  It is real nice to be on quiet water but Holy Freaking Cold at 60 with no windshield
That sounds like the way to live if you're starting to see those temps and you can day trip to moore/dine/shop - Nice . . .

You're thinking of the 310.

Blessed - Mike is right the H310 has a small day berth.

what appealed me to a large bowrider?

Well! We had no intention of sleeping on the boat (we like our airconditioned house and hot showers) We started with a h200 last year and found it a little tight for day trips (with another couple and some more kids) so I started looking for a larger boat. I actually wanted a 240 but apparently so did everybody else so the prices were too high. I found a H260 at a good price plus they took another $3000 off so they wouldn't have to winterize and store it. A trip to NH to pick it up and voila I have a 2001 H260 with 7.4 l duoprop entertainment center, bimini top with only 180 hrs showing on the dash hour meter.

I took mine out for the first time on Sunday! My sis and her hubby were in thier "chase" boat taking pics. As soon as I get 'em they'll be down loaded. The boat ran like a champ, and with the Corsa exhaust, I believe I actually scared boaters out of the water.

Well, I pulled the boat home from its winter storage safe-haven, if that counts. It was in a barn with a dirt floor so it is D-I-R-T-Y!!! Cleaning will start ASAP.

She has a date with the dealership next Tuesday to have the drive replaced for that paint problem, after that and some checking/tightening it's good to go!

I'm halfway done cleaning the old boat so I can sell it. Once that project is done, I'll get my 260 out and start the cleaning process on that one. I hope to be in the water by the second weekend of may.

Hey, Cap'n M .......

Where is your slip, in MI?

We're native Michiganders (the rest of the family is all still in the Metro Detroit area), been in NH for about 18 years. Grew up in Glen Haven, front yard was the lake with South Manitou Island on the horizon .... moved to Metro Detroit in the late '60s (I remember the National Gaurd convoys heading into Detroit.......).
