It's more of a duration issue. We are out for 4-5 days at a time in the same anchorage
and it just reduces the length of time I have to run the genny. I am adding one additional ship systems battery this year so that will help as well.

I've been looking to replace all the G4 type Xenon bulbs (a total of 14) in my 298 with LED vesions and just found a great supplier. How many lights do you have on when on the hook ? LED's will help reduce power consumption, but it shouldn't be an issue for the batteries, unless you are trying to make daylight at nite. |
