I might actually be to blame for all this rain. Since I put my boat in the marina it has rained every day.

Short of keelhauling I will accept my punishment.

I'll take some of the blame too, we put ours in on April 15th, and have not been out since. Of course, that day it was beautiful. Rain and chilly ever since. Next weekend looks to be pretty good for boating.

Here I was thinking that it was all my fault for having the roof opened up for insulation and then deciding to have a new roof put on at the same time.

Rain, rain, rain is normal this time of year in Northern Alabama. What is getting me down is the tendency of strong winds on the weekends (and during the week). Since moving from a single to a twin engine boat backing into the slip got a LOT easier... until I starting fighting the wind. Still a lot easier, but it sometimes takes two approaches to gently bounce her in. Today, dead calm, today, big birthday party for my 4 year old girl to attend and my teenage boys need to spend a couple of hours at church working on a youth project. I'll probably go and get the boat cleaned up for tomorrow after church and monday. Being at the marina is a lot more fun than not being at the marina!
