Just take it to a sewing / canvas shop and have them do it.

Yeah they did silk screen it. I was disappointed in that, but hey if that's all I have to be dissapointed in I'm fine W/that. I looked in the yeelow pages & found an ebroiderer right up the street from.Gonna take to him thurs & he let me know if he can do it. Said he has chemical to remove the silk screen!

I have a f224 and my boot is embroidered. That is really cheap that FW is using a screen.

My 180 is Screened. It's a good looking screen but if I was spending 200 series money I would expect the embrodiery as well.

My 2006 H190 is embroidered... A bit cheap to save a few measly bucks by screen printing - what makes the Four Winns attractive is the built in quality of everything.

Really? My '07 180 has an embroidered logo on the bimini boot.

Some change over in stock perhaps?

I am looking at bimini boot for my 08 H260 and both (main & camper extension) of my bimini boots are embroidered. FW might start using screened version for smaller boats. If they are trying to bring their quality in detail they should not cheese out even for smaller boat.
Genmar has Larsen and Glastron for that and not on FW.

Methinks the surviving boat manufacturers are going to look for anything they can find to save money / stay alive. Some companies will cut corners on things that are truly important; FW may have decided this is a way to save some money on something that is nice but not crucial. Just speculating outloud. I'd want the embroidery too.

You're right about cost-cutting Mike. I've got a Jeep Grand Cherokee and the new models are definitely showing those signs. A couple of plastic panels used to hide things in the engine compartment are now being omitted on new models. Most owners will never notice, or care, but the small costs do add up over a large production run. Making them, stocking them, time to add them on the assembly line, etc.

I'm not sure the same thing can be said for the considerably more limited numbers of boats that get built each year, the economies of scale aren't nearly the same.

Personally I could care less about labels on a canvas cover. It's just one more thing to get messy over time. I think mine has lettering on it but I never use it.
