The FourWinns Accessories online site says it is being updated today. It will be interesting to see what they have to offer now. |

So far no updated Winn Gear store. 1:00 pm PST now so 4:00 pm in Michigan. I guess Four Winns did not specify an exact time on June 13th 2008 did they? I'm sure the "grand opening" date of the new store will slip the same as the shipment date for my back ordered parts has. Again. |

Kinda like the MyFourWinns that's been under construction for how long now? Four Winns really needs to wake up and look at the competition's web sites and see how poor thiers is. Look at Chap's web site... Much better. |

Snazzy web sites don't necessarily sell boats. |

Snazzy web sites get customers to the dealership. I've been around the net for a LONG time.. A bad web site will put me right off of a product. I suspect there are many individuals who would agree. |

I bought that duffle bag. I use one to throw a change of clothes in, keep my wallet keys and electronics all in one place. |

FW could definately benefit from better pictures and even a 360 animated view of the inside and out. All their pics seem to be trying to win a photography show not to show me what the boat actually looks like and the options available. They do have a great "build you own" section that really gives you an idea of the price range of the boats. I was just looking around at camping trailers for an associate of mine and was really pissed as each manufacturer and dealer I found displayed no pricing what so ever. No build options and no ballpark. Turned me off big time. The world is really getting to the point where the under 35 crowd (estimate) basis their beliefs on quality, selection, and price on the web. It should be the companies single greatest advertising plan. All other advertising including boat shows should then push people to the website. |

Yet, you bought a Four Winns despite the lack of bling on their website. I believe you made my point. Thank You. |

Actually FW website was still better than many. I am also not your normal under 35 crowd. I drove 200 miles from my home to two larger cities to check out every single brand of boat I could find in person. I've never been to a boat show (going now) but had to see and touch everything in person. The FW website was very helpful but actually doesn't stress it's quality enough. Looking at websites I thought the Bayliner or Tahoe was the same boat as the FW. It wasn't until I actually saw them and recognized the quality. I should also mention that the FW dealer is 10 miles from my house, I don't know if I would have found them w/o being local. So glad I did. |

I do not think FW Web site is that bad. However, it should be better in details . I feel the most of new boat buyer would likely check with Web page to get some idea of what they offer. FW. Website has an access for previous model catalog (back to 1976) and parts catalog back to 1996 Model….. Not many other manufacture offers information for old models. FW have a good intension… Just need to improve some details….. |

I think your exactly right. I was just showing a co-worker the difference between the Horizon series and the Funships (which I kinda like) Tried to explain to him the difference in the hulls so I went to the website and you can't even get a true picture of what the front or bottom of the boat looks like. Lot's of profile shots but lacking details. |

I used the FW web-site as a reference. Seeing the boat in person is the real selling point. The Sea Trail usually help as well to sell a boat. I don't think the FW web-site is bad. It is what it is. I just took a quick look at the Sea Ray web page and the Maxum web page. They all look the same to me. They all give you an idea of the lay out and the options on a boat. |
