heh .... In Brad's "New to boating" thread, on his project Horizon, there was a link to an older thread from Big Boat Bay Buster's older Horizon and his engine swap. His use of the Four Winns specialized engine hoist (shown below) reminded me of our need for specialized automotive tools, occasionally. This is the most ridiculous, inept, unsafe mechanical opperation I have seen. (Nylon truck tire use for engine retrevial) Looks like a side project at a meth lab. |

Umm .... yeah ... they got a good reaming for that one (that was son #2 and a buddy .... both UTI grads ... and working at the BMW dealership). Good thing it wasn't a BBC (Big Block Chevy) .... |
