You guys are so Lucky to be having a long weekend! Our Canada Day (July 1) fell on a Tuesday and that sucked because I had to work on Monday!!!!

I hope that you all have a sun-filled, good weathered old time and most of all please play safe !
Enjoy the relaxation, beer and company of all those that surround you while you celebrate your Independance Day !!!

Yeah MNG. Not to dis a vac day or holiday but that would have been better set-up as a 3 day weekend. Still, managed to have a good time.
Yeah, the boats at rest should be well worth watching next week - especially if Brent, Cincy, Tx, Gomes and now Ken (who else am I forgetting to watch out for?) share updated images on what thier boats look like on the long "4th Weekend".

Did you say risk a new camera? I love cameras, what did you get? I am pretty much in the same boat (so to speak) with the meet ups so far this year - as well as the apprehension with the camera vs. water thing.

It's not super new, and not to fancy. A Canon Powershot A560, to replace the Kodak Easyshare that I had stolen when my old house was broken into. I miss the date being imprinted on every picture with the Kodak, the Canon you can only do it while it's in postcard mode which I don't like. It might be getting replaced soon because of that.

Mike has anybody told you that things like boats, lighting, GPS devices, and underwater camera's are pretty much worthless in your driveway?

P.S. Except for you Mike, you need to wax the boat first and re-calibrate the GPS and wait until it's dark so you can check on those LED helm and trailer lights...then you can go boating, atleast there won't be any traffic on the roads at that hour !
