I found out a few days ago that the Four Winns dealership not even 3 miles from my house went out of business. With the boat sales down this year them housing more than just four winns they can't stay in business. I talked to my salesman and he said the big reason was they had Baja boats and didn't sell any this year. Now I have to travel close to 100 miles to get to a Four Winns dealership. |

Baja is yanking most of its dealers this winter and giving the line to the Fountain dealers. |

Sorry, can't say I feel your pain. The closest FW dealer is almost 100 mi away from me. The one I bought from is even further. I'll have to drive to the one of them at the end of the summer for some work. Thank Gawd gas is creaping down. |

I'm lucky here in Long Island, there are many repair shops that work on all makes of power packages, we do have a FW dealer in Massapequa but I've never been there (20 year old boat!) Hopefully the price of oil will continue to drop, the economy has really slowed down and this is reminding me of the aftermath of the 73-74 gas crisis, except now there is no problem with supply, there IS a problem with the price! |
