What is everyones boating plans for the weekend?

We are going out on Cape Cod. We will be leaving out of Yarmouth and either heading to Chatham or Hyannis depending on the surf. It is going to be our first sunny weekend in a few weeks.

Have a good weekend!

I fell in love with wakesurfing this summer so Im gonna try to sell mine and hopefully get a good deal on a wakeboat late in the season.

The Winns has been a great first boat and I've loved every minute of it...just cant surf behind it!

It's not recommended with I/Os for saftey. I looked at a couple boards and noticed a NO I/O warning label affixed to them.

To start surfing you lay on the board right off the swim platform...the prop would be spinning literally a few feet away from your face. Its possible but you'd have to be pretty stupid to do it.

You can bet I'll still try it. Probably will start further back then shorten up on the rope until I crest the wake close to the boat.

It'll give the safety police something to do when I post pics doing it on this board.

What brand of wakeboat are you planning to get? I don't know much about the different brands, but my brother has a 2008 Malibu VLX and speaks highly of Malibu.

Best of luck Brent

This is a pic of someone elses boat, but I want this boat in the same color scheme.

I have looked at a couple Malibu's also but after riding in a Super Air Nautique I fell in love.

wakecrafts are pretty ill too, as are sangers and tiges. I wanted to go to the lake, but I signed up to drive some physically handicapped kids from a camp up at this little alpine lake. They bus the kids up and have 4wd trucks and jeeps take them up to this camp. Its a cool deal, plus its Hot August Nights, a huge classic car show that brings in about 30,000 old cars and 600,000 people. more than doubles the size of reno.

Well Justin, If you're buying a wake boat, you might as well buy the best.

A buddy at work has an '06 SANTE. Pretty sweet. From the homework I did the Correct Crafts are tops!

By the way, get ready for kidney shock in rough water and forget about exceeding 45 mph. (but you can get there fast)

We will be at Smithville Lake most all weekend (KC guys) running the gas out of the 220 before trailering it to Table Rock next weekend. How Ironic Smithville is also having Hot August Nights(car and bike shows along with bands each Friday night). It's not even close to what is in Reno's is, but the big block in the General Lee gets about the same milage as the 220 so it's just local shows for now. Love to come out there some time though it's like the King of the Car Show/Cruises.

Well Mike, the 30% chance of rain this weekend means there's a 70% chance I'll see you up there at Stumpville.
