I faced a security camera towards my boat a few weeks ago.

Not only do I get notified if anyone goes near it, but I also get to look at it from my phone whenever I want to, haha.

Brilliant!!! I may have to copy this. Lol.

Arlo Pro's can be had VERY cheap on ebay. I think I paid $ 260 shipped for mine. You can get them even cheaper on Amazon:

The best thing is they come with free cloud storage, and you can add up to 5 cameras for free. Once it detects motion, it automatically records and uploads to the cloud. No wires to run (battery powered) and you can manage everything from your phone.

I am just waiting for the ice to break at the lake near my house so I can get the fishing boat out. Last year I made it out in the middle of march. Half the lake still had ice, but I was Boating!

There's an old boat my neighbor has that's been sitting in an old horse barn for a decade or so. It's an 85 17' bowrider. I almost bought it but it needed a motor mount, floor is a tad soft, and it probably could use stringers. Mechanically, however, it is sound.

I really ought to offer to fix it up and use it as an early and late season cruiser. It would make for a nice project anyway.

Keeping my fingers crossed that the weather will be nice Easter weekend. We currently have plans for camping at Canyon Lake for the long weekend, and if the weather looks to be nice then we'll be towing the boat out with us also! Hopefully that will be first splash!

Nice. Easter will likely be too cold here.

There's a fishing tournament on May 4th, I'm thinking that'll be my first day out. The snowbanks are still as tall as my mailbox right now.

They are calling for almost 60's next weekend. If the lake in town thaws out this week I will be out next weekend for a ride for sure.

I got the motor I talked about ready to go in. I need the ground to dry to move the boat now to get it in. We at near flood stage here. Our landing needs the river to be down and warm to put the dock in. Aprilish the woman at the police station said.

It was 70 on Thursday and now back to single digits today. Boating season is near!

I actually checked on the boat Thursday and noticed that the roof in the garage it's stored in was dripping a bit. Only a few drops on the cover though. We had some water come up through the floor as well. Ground was like a sponge.

I pulled the tarps off. Fired up the tractor let it run some. I scrubbed the bilge out and touched up a few spots. I was sanding all over putting in the depth gauge.

If the ground get solid I would have the new motor in.
