Hello, This is my first post here, probably of many. I just found out about this board trying to find an answer to this question. I am trying to find out where I can get vinyl rub rails for a 1995 Freedom, but there are no dealers remotely close to me. Is this a part I can get through online distributors, or am I forced to find a dealer to order this part. The rub rails on my boat are in tough shape from the previous owner and I'd like to just get it replaced in its entirety. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. |

If you e-mail 4 winns they can probably tell you who the supplier of the part was to them, then do a search and find out who sells it. I got new windshield glass for my old '88 Horizon that way. |

Thanks for the start. I hadn't thought of contacting Four Winns directly. I am guessing, however, based on your response, that there aren't any mail order places to order parts online? I only ask because I figure that this will not be the only purchase I have to make for the boat... |

Doug Russell Marine http://www.dougrussell.com/ I don't know if they have Four Winns stuff but that is where I look for my engine/drive parts. Seem to have good prices. |

Once you find out who the original supplier is, search to see who sells it and I would be suprised if you couldn't find an on line supplier. I had to get some new windshield pieces and ordered them from the original supplier Water Bonnet in Florida. I got the info from FW directly via e-mail. |
