We've been following this on TV all night. Sounds like the entire region is without power and I just saw a report that said the entire I-45 freeway just north of Galveston is littered with yachts. One diesel engine was still running. Boats picked up and dropped down onto the freeway.

Sounds like they'll be picking up the pieces for a long time to come. Not good at all. I lucked out with Rita a few years back, then we moved to San Antonio. And I was ticked off for dinging my propeller last weekend.
