I am typically 25 cents per square foot!

Anyone else reuse last years shrink wrap? i was pretty successful with it. it looks almsot as good as the day i took it off in april. I am goin to tarp it also since the back isnt as sealed as it was when they did it. |

Did you re-shrink it? I am looking at getting my boat wrapped and it will cost about $400 so I was curious if I could get 2 years or more out of it. Did they go over your boat without any side to side pieces or braces in the middle? ie. how did you re-instate it? I have done some research and the way you can tell a quality job is by the amount of strapping that is used to make a substructure that will help shed off the snow and water. I am thinking that the massive piece of shrink wrap may be a bit of a pain to store also? Can you post some pics? |

I payed 22.00 a foot so 19x22+tax. Never will again. Its highway robbery. Our boat was wrapped with a tall ridge beam, when I unwrapped it I undid the seem in the back and pealed it carefully forward. when I put it back on I did the same. Its more loose than before but it will easily shed snow rain and water. |

That is way too much, we charge $11 or $13 a foot depending on the amount of framing needed. |

If you take it to get shrink wrapped how do you 1 lower the OD as per Merc winterization 2 remove or have batt disconnected & on batt tender? |

The drive stays up batt disconnected by the dealer during winterization. BTW dont battery tend in the boat it can burn your boat up, do it in a place you can monitor it. |

Yeah I pull the batt & keep it in the garage on work bench.I'm not gonna shrink wrap have an after market mooring cover that has worked well this season to protect the mfg covers from the sun & kept water out & I'll probably take that off & get an oversize tarp & secure it over the whole boat. Haven't winterized it yet but I plan to this weekend. We had frost the other nite. I hope I didn't wait too long to drain the block!!
