We will close down by year end one of our three distribution centers located in Hagerstown, Maryland. Seems that dealers aren't the only ones having a difficult time, I received an email yesterday that the local West Marine is closing up. Sure they're prices are higher, but we've scored several good deals there and the convenience couldn't be beat since the store is about a mile from either of the two local lakes. Since everything is up to 75% off, I guess I'll have to go stock up. I wonder how many other locations are closing.

I figured I'd swing by tonight and see what kind of deals I could score. Most of the everyday stuff was still full price since they're shipping to another store. But I ended up with a Magma Grill for $37 (normally $150) and a Sumo Tube for $25 (normally $100). There were a few of the Grills left, if anyone is interested, I may be persuaded to pick one up. Just send me a PM.

Is there a list anywhere of the closing stores ? Maybe some bargains to be had here in Florida ?

I haven't seen a full list of stores anywhere, I received an email from West Marine that was specific to the store where I shop. I asked if any other area stores were closing and was told those were staying open, so local employees may have an idea if any stores will be closing.
