What magazines do you read or subscirbe to? I used to get Go Boating which was quite good to read but they "morphed" into Motor Boating which IMHO is not quite as good. |

I've dropped them all. It's just a bunch of advertising and uh, "reviews." I'd rather spend the money on other things. |

I read Trailer Boat. Mostly all reviews and second hand boats for sale. Not the best magazine but there is nothing else other than the magazine with the big cruisers in it. |

Trailer Boat and also Boating Life (which I think is a free magazine). They are both just full of ads and reviews, which are just marketing tools. Its ok though...I love boats and its fun to read them. Once in a great while I get a worthwhile tip out of them. |

I subscribe to Boating, but the mag has gotten smaller in the last couple of years ... a bit more fluffy, less tech, good articles and recreational stories/articles. I also read: Northeast Boating (used to be Offshore), good for trip planning, they have articles on different Northeast ports-of-call. Soundings, but not every issue. I have free subscriptions (show specials, etc.) to: MotorBoating (occasional good info) Boating World (pretty fluffy) Power & Motoryacht (our 268 would make a nice dinghy on the subject "boats") |

I remember when I was younger, I would look through my grandad's MotorBoating & Sailing Magazines (now called just MotorBoating) and dream about living on the boats, even going so far as picking out where everyone in our family would sleep, eat, etc... What am I talking about, I still do that now! MotorBoating Power & Motoryacht Yachting |

I read Boating, Boating Life, and Trailer Boats when I can find it at the book store. I like the stories about boating destinations, reviews, and new products. |

I look forward to Trailer Boats. It is the only one I actually pay for. I don't care to read about huge yachts I have no interest in buying. If you want to get a lot of free boating magazines fill out a survey that says you are planning on buying a new boat in the next 6 months. I did that a couple of times 2 years ago when I was in the market and I am still getting several boating magazines at no charge. 2006 240 Joe |

This most current issue is more like a brochure! |
