I'm sure a lot of you have some good stories to tell of boating in extreme conditions. I thought I'd post a few pics of storms approaching the marina and such. Mother Nature is a pretty awesome force and in spite of her occasional fury can produce some cool looking skies. I'd love to see your pics, too. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I really really can't wait for Spring.... as I look out at the snow falling (6' expected in the next 18-24 hours on top of the pile we have now). |

Squall lines, mesocyclones with rear flank downdrafts, and shelf clouds... that stuff gives me the heebie-jeebies around water. Great photos, though. |
