I had bought a 1975 Reinell last summer to fix up and restore. Decided after not being on the lake all summer that I wanted a boat I could use and bought the four winns. Just sold the Reinell today for 50% of what I bought it for last summer. Oh well I have no idea whats wrong with it and it very well could have a cracked block. I never could get it to start.

I gave full disclosure so he knows what he is getting into.

It seems only the cheap stuff is selling. I dropped my price just to get it gone. Of course it is easier to sell a boat for under a 1000.00.

Not just cheap stuff thats selling, it the REALLY good deals that are moving. If there were a 35' cruiser in front of me for say $50k and you better believe that I will find a way to get it in my driveway!

But it does seem that the bank repos and really good priced boats(toys), are not the ones that have been taken care of and I would want any part of. If you got time to shop, now is a great time to be buying.

Smart man. I hung on to my other boat for numerous years trying to get what it was worth and then ended up having to write a check to get rid of it when all was said and done.

Thats what I was worried about. I had thought about trying to get it running, which would have made it more valuable, but decided that I did not want to sink any more money in to it.

Just got a call from Skipper Buds today and finally I think we have a solid buyer. He drove 90 miles to come see it and put money down. From the sounds of it she is a done deal. I didn't come out to bad other than the fact that SB takes we to much off the top, but heck we only paid $5000.00 for it when we bought cuz we got it from family and we are getting $4600.00 in our pocket 4 years later. Granted I stuck probably at least $1000.00 into over the past 4 years, but I think we got our moneys worth from her.
