Anyone ever see these? This happened across the state here due to the high winds. Ice blows all the way onto shore and into some homes...scary.

I saw that on the news last night. Sad for the homeowners. It is pretty rare that happens, thankfully.

I saw that on the news last night. That was on Saginaw Bay, wasn't it? Absolutely incredible!

Yeah that is right around Linwood beach, about 10 miles or so north northwest of the mouth of the saginaw river. Amazing!!!

I thought the video of the news coverage said 30 mph. Seems like it would take a whole lot more to move that much ice.

Hail the size of golf balls? I wish they were that small.....

We get anywhere from pea size to softball size here in Texas. Well, they do say that everything is bigger in Texas.

It's the length of the lake (the fetch) combined with that wind speed that did it. All that wind, blowing across all that water, starts to stack up some pretty nasty conditions. Ice floats and each successive wave floats more on top.

Still, that's a wild set of pictures.
