225 has a buyer. They are just waiting for me to tell them to pick her up!

We're still in the loop....waiting to hear something back. Trying to be proactive. I don't want to let this drag out and end up keeping my boat keeping my buyer waiting for nothing in the end.

Buy a little older boat that you know the history and maintenance. A repo...especially across the country where you can't put your own eyes on it could be a lot of trouble and a lot of $$$ down the line. Good luck and congrats on the sale.

There are few of us that live in CT; I live in Portland but our boat is docked in Mystic. Do you trailer or slip your boat. I grew up in Westerly and lived there until 5 years ago.

That CT boat is going to be a salt water boat ...... stick with fresh water used boats!

That was what was hard for us .... finding a nice (and nicely priced) fresh water boat over here on the seacoast.

Thats a good repo house. Last year I looked at a few boats there. As far as it being a salt water boat, It may be fresh water. Mine is 5 years old and will be seeing its first year in salt this coming year. That place has a few Four Winns for sale. Too bad you didnt see it earlier as I was just by there this past weekend. If I am in the neighborhood again, I can pop in and take a look.

Bottom painted & a barnacled outdrive .... likely salt water.

Of course, on a young boat this isn't a "no way" issue, but I would always prefer to start out with a fresh water boat if all else is equal.

We are from Wallingford Ct. Keep the 258v in Deep River. Planning on many trips this year. Hartford fireworks are great.
