Grand Traverse Canvas here in TC is very good. They do a lot of boat canvas work. I would definately recommend them. I have a few friends that have had new canvas custom made from there. http://www.gtcanvasworks.com/

I think Advanced Awning in Acme does canvas work too. I don't know their level of expertise on boat canvas though. http://www.advancedawnings.net/

We have used these guys a couple of times. Much more reasonable than Muskegon awning.

We used an Amish shop just north of Freemont. I will try and get the name and number for you. They did great work. They definitely do work on their schedule...but from what I paid and the quality of product I received it was well worth it.

We used a shop in Spring Lake. I am sorry but I can't remember the name of the place  . They are not very well known, but they do good work for very reasonable prices. I can tell you they are located just south of M-104(Cleveland St.) between Spring lake and Nunica on I believe 140th or 136th street.

Thanks Capn...that is it. Ask for Andy. Like I said...you need to be real patient...they do things on their own clock. But it is amazingly good work and craftsmanship. I am going to take my boat up there next spring to have the bimini and boot modified to add shortie trailering poles and a stabilizer bar as well.

Hey Dave!

Hope the little one is doing well.

Can you post some pictures of the individual panels? I am thinking of having some panels made but want an idea as to what the factory ones are like so I can imitate and modify the design to suit my needs.

They just might. They move boats by hand and the only power anything I saw was one sewing machine.
