I'm kinda glad I boat on non-tidal waters....

Shouldnt that boat have pod drives as well. If so, wonder where they are?

that could be a big ouch if those were pod drives.....I'm a tidal water boater and it is something you just get used to...certain places you don't go to at low tide...certain ramps you can't use at all at low tide unless you have a roller trailer (most here on the North Shore of LI use rollers). Here the tides change the water level about 7 feet, every 6 hours, it is usually 12 hrs between high tides and 6 hrs between high and low...so that skipper would be waiting somewhere near that long....if the boat is still seaworthy....

Nah, it's probably inboards as pods would leave the boat sticking up a bit more than that. Or it's stern drives and the picture just doesn't clearly show them. If it's inboards I pity him the expense. Turning the props, probably replacing the shafts, potentially dealing with cracked hull from the shaft supports, ugh.

Twins with electronic controls are very versatile. There's not as much need for a bow thruster as you might think. I wouldn't object to having one but with a bit of experience I've really never been in a situation that required one.

The owner of the boat probably is another boater that did not buy an Anchor from Les.
