Hello Fellow Boaters, I have a question regarding storage/mooring covers. I feel like I need more than just the cockpit and bow cover to protect my boat when it's not winterized and shrink wrapped. Our local canvas shop does a great job on custom covers(10oz Sunbrella) that are tie down and cut-out around my tower, which would obviously provide a great deal more protection, the down-side is they charge $1140. My wife thinks this is unnecessary and believes most owners don't use them. Not that your responses would necessarily mean I wouldn't go ahead and get one but would help if I were correct in assuming some use them. My boat sits outside from mid-May thru mid-September. Thanks and help a brother out!!

My boat to sits out side from may to september. I also have bow and cockpit covers, that in heavy rains leak. So I do cover with a full trailering cover. I picked up one from overtons on sale for $299 it is well worth the money. It is a semi-custom covermate titan 11.5 oz 100% polyester. It is one yr. old and doing great. I probably trailered about 1500 miles with it on works great. You might want to go through the forums i think someone has a mooring cover for sale that is your same boat Thanks DREW
