As long as you are getting a deal on the new boat it all works out.

I really wish I would have waited 2 more year to get back into a boat!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :?

Now is the time to be in the market to buy, that is for sure.

You wait until all of these 'super buys' are gone from new inventory leftovers. Used prices will shore up - and people expecting huge discounts on new boats will be shunned.

When the market levels out, it's going to be a much better time for sellers. Buyers will be paying more.

Oh - but financing is still going to be a royal pain.

Interesting...their 260 Horizon is still more than what I paid for mine. Of course its a 2007 but never been licensed so Four Winns still considers it new....

The freight and prep is not a huge deal. It still makes this boat a great deal. Not to mention, the guys at G and R marine are great. We drove 2.5 hours to buy our boat from them.

Drew:
If the boat has an 8.1L and SS Arch, it is a great deal.. SS package should cost about $4500 over standard boat. (Package include Graphics, special color scheme interiors, Low profile glass and Thru Hull exhaust) Standard H260 with all good option and arch would be over 90K MSRP…. So SS should be near 95K MSRP…… If you have a good dealer to work with FW would do many one off custom finish to your liking which are not listed on the option book. I have seen SS with standard windshield, one peace glass, even with a MAG 496HO(in 260) … You would want think hard when you order a new boat… any options are reasonable when you order but once you get a boat and retrofit them later would cost much more….. I am kicking myself not to order an arch for my boat…
Now I have to pay a steeeeeeeep figure….. Oh well.. we only live once…

Hey Sushi! I heard a rumour about you having an arch fabricated when I was at Winnisquam two weeks ago! Would it not be cheaper for you to trade up (again)? You should get a pretty good "frequent buyer" discount  What you're paying for the arch could be used to step into a new 2010 H260 SS with arch.

Well..... It is a very special boat to my Admiral as you know…..
We have build it the way we (she) like including putting 06 graphics on ……. We need to use it at least one more year or our hour meter to hit at least 100… I am not looking forward to go through that process with her anytime soon… I feel lucky enough that I got an authorization to give up our camper canvas and get an arch so I do not want to push my luck too much.. Sometimes the best one is the one we have….. and Adriral will tell you that !
All I have to do is making myself to belive I am too old for SS and it will not mach with my image.......

Sushi,

It's too bad your camper canvas is blue. I'd be all over that.
