WTF!

Since January, if the admiral and I have been in town, and the weather was 'pleasant' - we have been on the 318 enjoying it.

This is the first Saturday with good weather that we are NOT going to be on the boat.

I'd like to thank the admiral for inviting the houseguests that have enough time to stay with us, but not enough to go out in the boat!

mid 60s and sunny in Seattle. Do we understand how rare that is for May?????

Who's out this weekend?

Pulled the boat out of the shop and I am getting ready to head out today and possibly tomorrow. 70's and sunny got to love it.

Wow - you guys in the west and south have it made! Most boaters in our area are lucky to get wet by the beginning of May!! While we all hope to be out on the water for the May 24 weekend at the latest, sometimes the weather throws us for a loop, and it can be June before we put any serious hours on the clock. This year, its great - warm and sunny and the sails are out , and outdrives down!

Well...we still have threats of wind and such for tomorrow....BUT, if they are calm and its not rainy, we should be out.

You all need to move to South Florida. 60 degrees and we are all hiding from "the cold"

it was 90+ today. Gorgeous night last night and even better day today.

70 degs and sunny here in Northern Utah! I did make it to pull the boat out of storage and bring it home today, but no plans of getting it wet for a few more weeks.

The only trip that we have planned at the moment is not until mid aug. when we are heading for Lake Powell.

Did test out the tractor to move the jet skis and boat around the yard. Can not wait to get the toys up to Bear Lake, (Northern utah), that trip, no boat, jet skis only. Staying on the family beach lot for a week of fun.

What sucks about living in the 2nd driest state in this great country of ours, boating is not a daily or every weekend activity. for us, it is a min. of 60-90 min drive to the nearest puddle and then its so over crowded that it is no fun. We choose to go to the bigger lakes less often, but can get away from the crowds.

I envy those of you that have your boat in a slip only mins away from home!! Enjoy!

Have been down at the marina for the last 3 or 4 weekends getting all the interior cleaned up and ready to go. Had to buy the req'd safety gear, we put the registration numbers on on friday after noon. Also installed a new cd player and four new speakers. We are hoping to get the exterior washed and wax etc. this week. getting really itchy to get out on the water.

Finally picking up the new boat tomorrow at Winnisquam. It suppose to be very windy and highs in the 50's at our home lake (Newfound), but I'm determined to at least get it in the water and tied up to the mooring. I'm not looking forward to wading in the 50 degree water though. :|

I'll see if I can stop from shivering and take a few pics.

We finally got out. Had a blast. Water is still to cold to swim in but took a cruise and then was on the hook for several hours for flotation and a few cold ones.

Sorry, my northern ass is 100% converted to Texan when it comes to cold. It's really sad actually how acclimated I've become to the warm.
