Does anyone know of or use any specific websites that are easy to use with mobile phones? (not Iphone) I would like to be able to get marine forcast easily for my wife and I's upcoming Lake Michigan excursion.

Thanks!

Most I have seen on mobile phones is internet based web sites, like GLERL and NOAA.
For the big lake, you are just as well to listen to the weather band on your VHF for current
marine forecasts on Lake Michigan.

I use the Accuweather application on my iPhone. Not sure if there is a Crackberry equivalent.

It is nothing fancy, but I use the http://mobile.wunderground.com site for my quick forecasts and animated radar on my Windows Mobile device. These seem to load very quickly and have been a great tool to help me avoid the thunderstorms on Pickwick Lake (at the Tennessee/Alabama/Mississippi borders).

For example, these would be the links for Traverse City, MI.

Animated Radar: http://mobile.wunderground.com/auto/mobile/MI/Traverse_City.html?feature=animatedzoomradar

Forecast: http://mobile.wunderground.com/cgi-bin/findweather/getForecast?brand=mobile&query=traverse+city,+mi

Here's my link (we're getting some rain today): http://mobile.wunderground.com/auto/mobile/TN/Pickwick_Dam.html?feature=animatedzoomradar

Your weather on Lake Michigan is probably a little more dynamic and might need something more sophisticated.

You can decide for yourself, as I'm sure you will, but I will mention one more bit of information that will be helpful while you are out. We keep this number handy when we are on the big lake.
