It probably won't help, but I'd give my eye teeth to have been out 3 times.

Rain? Why, it's beautiful here on sunny Long Island. NOT!

Been out once, then couldn't go out due to either illness or rain. I did manage to visit my boat this morning just before the rain began to make sure it was still floating and to run the engine. And right after I finished putting the canvas back on, a woman from the local Power Squadron asked if I would allow her to perform a safety check, so off came the canvas again. At least I got my sticker!

Hoping for better health and better weather.

Kevin

Mine has not left the concrete pad and likely won't... Who knows when it will see water (other than the downpours that it's been getting).

Brett, I can only hope that you -- and I -- eventually get good weather and are able to get out on the water. My forecast shows that maybe, just maybe, next weekend will be great. I hope yours and everyone else's is, too.

Went out for the 6th time this weekend. It was the best weather we have had in several weeks. Probably be out 4 out of six days this week, and at least the same for next week, as we will be on our annual vacation, which of course is on the boat. Then, sell it !

The weather here (on weekends) has been the shits! Our boat has been in the water for two months and i've only been on it three times and the hour mteer hasn't even changed (225)!!!! It seems the weather during the week is excellent but as soon as the weekends come the wind picks up and the rain starts.

Cap'n That will be a working vacation getting ready to sell your boat. I have had only one interested party in my boat and they didn't even come and see it. The market is real tough unless you are willing to give it away.

Have you considered a swap with firecadet? He has a beautiful Sundowner that he really wants to move up from and my understanding is that you want to move down....Just a thought!

Our lake is back up again from all the rain and now is expected to crest on Wednesday unless it rains again. The walkway to our slip flooded and you have to take a rowboat to get to our slip. Not much fun if the wife is dressed up. It's a real hassle carrying all our supplies, clothes and ice for the weekend and then dropping it all in the bottom of a muddy rowboat. That being said we've lived on the boat every weekend since the last of April. It was raining when we got to the marina Friday night but being under cover we just sat tight and watched the storm. This weather pattern seems to be a repeat of last year in our part of the country. I don't want to spoil the fun but I keep a log and last year the rain pattern continued through the fourth of July. The roads to the marina were so flooded last year on the fourth we had to take an alternate route to get there. I hope that doesn't happen again this year.

We've had a great season so far. From the Chicago Loop Cruise, to boating on Brookville Lake with Cincy and SundayDinner, its been a great season. The weather hasn't been to bad either.

We even sold our 225 yesterday for our asking price! I had a guy from TN come take a look at it while we had it in the water, and he said he had no problem paying it, it was worth every penny.

Now to figure out which 268/278 we want.

Congratulations Firecadet... You give me hope!

niceguy, swap has long been forgotten. My boat is not new enough, or equipped like Fire wanted, and his boat was to pricey for me.

As far as the market goes, believe me, I know how bad it is. It will be priced accordingly.

It has been Rainy a lot here in North East….. However, we have managed to get out and putting 6 hours on Engine since Memorial Day weekend…….. We are about a hour away from where Marc lives but weather was good enough to get out for about 4 hours yesterday….
Water is still too cold for our liking for water sports :(

Hey Sushi I was wondering if you were up this weekend! I guess I could have gone out yesterday after about 2 pm but the waves were 3 foot rollers so all we would have done was sit in a cove and have a few drinks so I chose to just sit in the garage instead and do the same!

I wish I was closer to the Thousands Islands by boat... By the time I fight the Amherst Island gap and make my way to you I have spent atleast 1.5 hrs on plane! But once we are there we like to just putter around looking at all the views.

After a slow start, we've been out 7 times including both days this past weekend (great day to spend Father's day). Water is just starting to be warm enough to spend the full day out and we've found a couple of good restaurants on a local lake to send some business to.

I have the full week of the 4th off, so you know where I'll be
