I know that whinging about the weather is a national pastime here in the UK, but how the hell am I supposed to enjoy boating in this...........? :evil: :evil: :evil:

I feel your pain, conditions have been below average here as well for most of the summer.
Unfortunately, we have most of the month of August booked with plans that do not include boating, at least on weekends. Hopefully September will be a favorable month.

Third poor summer in a row, it's not just me that is totally fed up with the "Summer" weather in the UK then? The forecasters don't seem to have a clue except when they forecast wind and rain ( a pretty safe bet really !); last Saturday 5 -7 mph predicted, by the time my wife got to the boat at 15:00 after being at work in the morning, it was nearer 25- 35 mph !

Yes, the water has reached 15 deg. C this year ( 14 last Summer), we've never had it so good!

Lets no go there with weather with weather in the UK!

Like Graham says, 3 summers Met Office have said, oh yes this should be a nice warm summer, 3 times now they have failed to predict it right! Im starting to lose any faith I had in them to predict the weather! They can only seem to predict bad weather and then the good they do predict will be 60-70% of the time turn bad as it is!

I just hope the week that we have in Poole next week holds out well enough for us to be able to get out and spend some good quality time on it! Especially when it is going into a marina which is going to cost the best part of £600/£700 including lifts!

We can only hope :roll:
