We just got back from our trip to Norris Lake Tennessee. If you have never been there and are close you should go. We stayed at a friends Condo.

Typical view from the water.

That pic of your 3YO is priceless. I'd love to boat in TN.

Those are great pics. I think Patrick232 from BABC has a place on Norris if I am not mistaken. On a side note, does that vest yout 3 YO has on have a head float? I can't find a neoprene vest with one. Law in Michigan is all kids vests have to be a Type I or II (head float) until they are over 6 years of age. They are hard to find...in neoprene...impossible.

These are fantastic. Great pics. Is it always that glassy there? Large white caps on our little (3 mile) "pond" are a regular in the afternoon........

You can always find a smooth area. The lake is narrow and in between the mountains that block the wind. Its a water skier paradise. Over 100 mi long with 800 mi of shore line.

Thanks guys. It's my new favorite destination. My wife and I were shocked that my 3 y.o. son didn't jump he is a typically a daredevil and my 5 y.o. daughter(the princess) did.

Dogg: We actually stayed at Patrick's place. Although, the dock pictures are from the place my friends rented. No there is no head float on that vest. I never knew that Michigan had a law like that. I'll keep my eye out on one for you.

JustBreathe: Teker is right the lake is fairly narrow and very winding so you can always find smooth water. That picture was taken from an area that was about as far from the dam as you could get. Me and the other 2 families we traveled with were the only 3 boats there on a Tuesday afternoon.
