it was a busy weekend for you!

Glad it all worked out for you! that Baja looks like it will suit your needs much better.

What upgrades are on the list for the Baja? do they give you much for canvas/bimini?

Nice boat. It "looks" small for a 25 footer. Enjoy and welcome to the 7.4 club. What a great motor.

Yeah this weekend was crazy! Sat. at 8am new buyer here to test drive my boat and all said and done it is 10:20 AM and I close on my new boat loan at 10:30 so we rush over to the bank and close. So we come home for lunch after that and then off to buy the new boat and go for a test drive in that. With that all said and done back home around dinner time and all the neighbors come over to check it out so I had to finish off my day in the drive with a lot of cold beers!! No mods in store yet other than a much needed stereo upgrade. She does not have a Bimini, but I guess that is what the cuddy is for.

Those are coming. Just finished cleaning it out today and then hit the water so didn't get time yet.

Thanks! Its an older one, but they just don't make them like this anymore. Most of the newer ones we saw had no windshield and very little room in the cuddie.

Just about the same thing happened in May when we got our 261 Liberator. It was only four hours after I sold our Fiber Form Offshore and I found it on Craigslist and went and bought it. I wasn't going to buy one, but I had really bad sellers remorse that week. We sold both the Offshore Cuddy and the Bayliner 1850 in a couple of days.
Of course, I did pick up another older boat just for the smaller lakes. 1970 Wes Craft 1800 SS with 455 Jet.

Sweat Baja!

Nice Boat! Glad to hear everything went well for you.

My neighbour has a 29 foot Baja with twin 454's and it really hauls ass! Have fun with your new boat.
