I just tried to call FW (for the first time in a year) and was a bit surprised by the greeting used by the front desk: "Thank you for calling Genmar Boats of Michigan, how can I direct your call?"

Just seemed odd. Also, FYI, their web site is down right now it seems.

Actually, it's about time they did this. The Cadillac plant has been building other Genmar brands for 3 or more years, not just Four Winns. And they may even add more in the near future as Genmar consolidates manufacturing and emerges from Chapter 11.

Yeah I figured it had to do with reorganization/consolidation, but I didn't know they'd been building other brands at that plant already. Huh.

Oh yea, several Wellcraft models and Seaswirl boats to name two brands. I see 4 or 5 boats on trailers all the time heading south.
