I just tried to call FW (for the first time in a year) and was a bit surprised by the greeting used by the front desk: "Thank you for calling Genmar Boats of Michigan, how can I direct your call?" Just seemed odd. Also, FYI, their web site is down right now it seems. |

Actually, it's about time they did this. The Cadillac plant has been building other Genmar brands for 3 or more years, not just Four Winns. And they may even add more in the near future as Genmar consolidates manufacturing and emerges from Chapter 11. |

Yeah I figured it had to do with reorganization/consolidation, but I didn't know they'd been building other brands at that plant already. Huh. |

Oh yea, several Wellcraft models and Seaswirl boats to name two brands. I see 4 or 5 boats on trailers all the time heading south. |
