I know that there are a lot of boating tunes, or should I say music that us boaters listen to, but what are some really good songs of the sea other than my favorite, Billy Joels's the Downeaster Alexa.

I listened to Billy Joels's the Downeaster Alexa. It's a song about a proud, hard working business owner. It touched me. I am a banker who has loaned money to family owned businesses for 34 years. Self-employed people struggle and enjoy a good living if they are successful; but most don't make it.

Good on you for working with local businesses. But 'make it' is relative. Sure, they might not make a mint but at least they'll have had the time to be their own bosses. Getting out from under management insanity is sometimes worth a lot more than money. But not if the banker doesn't get repaid, of course.

Lots of songs out there, without knowing your specific tastes, it would be hard to suggest any.

Positively on of my favorite: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6U219P_zs7w I can't crank it loud enough. I like a lot of different kinds of music, but this song is amazing for many reasons. Enjoy!
